The USLA Southeast Region will be hosting a 4-day training course based on the USLA “Personal Rescue Watercraft Agency Certification” course approved in 2018. This new guideline allows lifeguard agencies with compliant PRWC programs to become nationally certified.
The course will cover:
-Launching and recovering the PWC
-Precision operation of the PWC
-Operation in high surf conditions
-Use of the rescue sled
-Victim pickup
-Operation with crew person
-Special rescue considerations
-Skills outlined in the USLA PWRO Standard
Cost*:
USLA Member with PWC/Sled - $350
USLA Member without PWC/Sled - $500

Group rate of $ 145 there, which comes to approx. $ 180.25 after the addition of resort fee (12%) and tax (11%).
Also offered is lodging closer to the Village of Baytowne Wharf , since that is where all the action on the property is. The group rate there is $ 169, or $ 210.10 after taxes and fees.
