The 2025 USLA National Lifeguard Championships will be held in Huntington Beach, CA from August 7 - 9, 2025. Details (including host hotel information) can be found at
www.uslanationals.org. Brush up on your competition rules, train hard and check back often on our website for regularly updated information!
This competition is open to current Professional, Alumnus and Life USLA Members. Approved international competitors who are current members of a national lifesaving organization that is a Full Member of the International Life Saving Federation are also
eligible to compete, subject to approval. (Send a request for approval to lifesavingsport@usla.org.) Unfortunately, Associate Members are NOT eligible to compete,
but we welcome you to attend and cheer our lifesavers on!
Entry Fees*:
- July 1 - August 3 (Midnight Eastern Time): $150
- August 4 - 9 (Eastern Time): $175
*Professionals who are competing in the U19 division will pay the Junior fee for that competition. Professionals who also want to compete in the Nationals, Wednesday through Friday, must pay an additional fee for this competition.

⏰ Athlete Early Check-In:
Athletes are encouraged to check in early to save time and avoid long lines. Early check-in will be available on
Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the
Huntington Beach House Restaurant.
If you plan to stay for lunch, please note that the restaurant opens at 11:00 AM.
When entering to park for early check-in, tell the Park Aide that you are there to register for the USLA event — they should not charge you an entry fee. The parking fee is waived only during the registration window. If you come earlier
or later, a day-use fee will apply.
