This years annual meetings will be one of the best and at a new location we have never been to before, Florida’s east coast. We will be visiting and seeing many local and regional historic sites and hearing presentations on the Florida Houses of Refuge and Life-Saving Stations to learn what life was like. We will also get to visit a current Coast Guard Station to see what modern rescue efforts are like in the area. Starting off this year’s annual meeting for the first time is an evening reception on Wednesday night at Gilberts Bar House of Refuge, a USLSSHA first! To cap the meeting off will be a wonderful dinner and raffle of special items to raise funds for the association. Please come and join us for the 2014 Annual Meeting and network with friends and others who are similarly interested in the USLSS.
