The United States Lifesaving Association has contracted with an event insurance carrier to provide insurance for the USLA National Lifeguard Championships. As part of this relationship, the insurance carrier is offering insurance to USLA Regions, Chapters, and Certified Agencies for competitions and for training clinics.  

Base Minimum Premium Rates

Camps & Clinic Coverage
(Minimum per USLA, Region, Chapter)

    1-4 Day Camps & Clinics
    $500.00 Minimum Premium. Includes coverage for up to 100 Participants. 
    Over 100 participants add $5.00 per participant. 

    5-14 Day Camps & Clinics
    $500.00 Minimum Premium. Includes coverage for up to 80 Participants. 
    Over 80 participants add $6.50 per participant. 

Tournament/Event Coverage
(Minimum per USLA, Region, Chapter)

    1-2 Day Events
    $500.00 Minimum Premium. Includes coverage for up to 200 Participants. 
    Over 200 participants add $2.50 per participant. 

    3-7 Day Events
    $500.00 Minimum Premium. Includes coverage for up to 80 Participants. 
    Over 80 participants add $6.00 per participant. 

Note: All camps, clinics, tournaments and events will incur an additional $25.00 certificate issuing Fee.

Insurance is offered by the insurance carrier, not the United States Lifesaving Association. Any insurance you may choose to purchase will involve a direct relationship between your organization and the insurance carrier. We consider the rates to be very favorable, but you are under no obligation to contract with any specific insurance carrier.
