United States Lifesaving Association (USLA) National Structure

Special Assignments

USLA is composed of over 100 local chapters, nationwide. These chapters form the nine USLA regions, with each region having its own leadership including a president and executive board.


Each region selects representatives to attend biannual USLA national meetings, where they sit as the USLA Board of Directors. Regional representation on the Board of Directors is based on a formula, which depends largely on current membership levels within each region. The regions are as follows:
